Where tranquility meets vibrancy.
Nestled along the coast of Jounieh, Lebanon, Skoon is a beachfront restaurant where ocean calm meets warm sophistication.
Blackink partnered with the founders to create the restaurant brand from the ground up, developing a strategic identity inspired by the surrounding sea, natural materials, and the unique atmosphere the restaurant was designed to offer.
Scope of Work_
Creating Skoon required more than designing a beautiful restaurant identity. The challenge was to capture the duality of the concept: a destination that feels calm and relaxing by day, yet vibrant and welcoming as people gather around food, conversation, and the seaside.
Our work focused on developing the restaurant brand strategy, naming, narrative, and visual identity, creating a cohesive brand experience that reflects the architecture, interior environment, and coastal setting while establishing a distinctive position within Lebanon’s hospitality landscape.

It’s in the Name.
The name “Skoon” reflects the serene and calming nature of the restaurant, while also acknowledging the vibrant energy of the people who gather there. In Arabic, “Skoon” signifies tranquility, but within the context of this beachfront oasis, it also suggests a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy both peace and connection.
The name perfectly encapsulates the duality of the Skoon experience—an upscale, serene retreat that’s infused with the vibrancy of its surroundings and patrons.
