Inspired by both the serene coastal environment and the earthy, textured architecture of the building, we developed the Skoon brand to embody a balance of tranquility and vibrancy.
The design integrates the soothing qualities of the sea with the warm, grounded feel of stone cladding and natural materials, creating a space that feels both peaceful and alive. We aimed to craft an atmosphere that invites guests to unwind and connect, blending elegance with a subtle, lively energy.

It’s in the Name.
The name “Skoon” reflects the serene and calming nature of the restaurant, while also acknowledging the vibrant energy of the people who gather there. In Arabic, “Skoon” signifies tranquility, but within the context of this beachfront oasis, it also suggests a lively, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy both peace and connection.
The name perfectly encapsulates the duality of the Skoon experience—an upscale, serene retreat that’s infused with the vibrancy of its surroundings and patrons.
